→ Overall, Wednesday could be considered NBC's strongest night now. Only "Ed" seems a little weak at 8pm. There's no stopping "The West Wing" (with or without Rob Lowe; hope he reconsiders) and the strengthing (is that possible in Season 13?) "Law & Order." CBS will win the Battle of the Wednesday Medicos with "Presidio Med" while the 8/8:30 comedies between Fox and ABC will split that aud. "Fastlane" throws an interesting demo twist into the 9p mix with "The Bachelor 2" and "The Amazing Race 3." Wednesday 9p is the only slot all week where all six webs are showcasing hour dramas. 8p on the netlets will prove fruitful for "Enterprise" and make this the last season we visit "Dawson's Creek." "Birds of Prey" will feast on "The Twilight Zone."

It's NBC night to lose.
