What I Say |
| Pick 'em: Renegade doctors bucking the system. Think of any medical show in the recent past...sound familiar? |
My Analysis & Prediction |
| 6-13, max...even though it's Touchstone produced and the bar IS lower for ABC. A medical drama with a team of doctors who break the rules in San Francisco. I'm not describing "MDs," it's "Presidio Med" across the dial on CBS. This and "Law & Order." You'd think ABC & CBS might have not put the shows opposite each other. "Law & Order" is going to rule the night (and probably be a Top 4 show). This and the other both will get confused and lost in the shuffle; "Presidio Med" has a more well-known cast. |
What They Say |
| Two doctors bend all the rules they can in order to give their patients the proper treatment at a cost-cutting HMO in San Francisco where the motto is "Medicine could be a lucrative business if it weren't for all those sick people." |
| William Fichtner and John Hannah co-star as two renegade doctors who are bucking the system in order to treat their patients at a large, HMO-driven hospital. |

| "Medicine could be a lucrative business if it weren't for all those sick people."So goes the motto of the mega-sized, mega-frugal HMO that runs Mission General Hospital in San Francisco, where two renegade doctors bend the rules and find the loopholes in a constant quest to treat their patients. Together, they practice medicine with a take-no-prisoners attitude and don't-take-no-for-an-answer tactics. Not since "M*A*S*H" has the real drama of life and death situations mixed with sharp wit and unique characters for such outrageous and unforgettable results. It's a strong prescription for conflict and comedy in this provocative new ensemble series from Marc Platt (Legally Blonde).
