ABC Tuesday 1990: Who's The Boss?, Head of the Class, Roseanne, Coach, Thirtysomething
The CW moves Hart of Dixie from Monday to Tuesday to lead into the new Emily Owens, M.D. Doctor, doctor? The NCIS/NCIS: Los Angeles combo return intact with the new 1960s Vegas ending the evening. Dancing with the Stars' Results kick things off for ABC followed by a jiggered mix of Happy Endings, Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23 and Private Practice (most likely for a 13-episode final season). NBC sandwiches two of its new comedies, Matthew Perry's Go On and The New Normal, between The Voice Results and the fourth season of Parenthood. From the I-don't-believe-I'm-typing-this Department, Fox has a solid night of quirky comedies brewing. The very offbeat Raising Hope leads off with the new Ben & Kate to follow. Last year's hit New Girl chugs in with the superbuzzedabout The Mindy Project batting fourth.

Tuesday is the most tinkered night of the week with five new slots, six new shows and six returning friends. Both results shows will do well to prop up the night for their nets (and will increase as the seasons roll on), but CBS' NCIS tandem will drive eyeballs to Vegas. Fox might have the most talked about evening of comedy, but it still won't bring the numbers.

Night to CBS.
