Fall Sundays return nearly as we left them in May. ABC moves last year's hit
Revenge into the old
Desperate Housewives slot and follows it with the creepy new
666 Park Avenue. CBS returns
60 Minutes,
The Amazing Race and
The Good Wife as it was last year, but adds
The Mentalist into the now-departed
CSI: Miami slot. Fox brings the animated funny back with
Cleveland,
The Simpsons,
Bob's Burgers (I've never heard anyone mention this show, no less watch it), the amazing
Family Guy and
American Dad. Fall Sundays on NBC are all about
Sunday Night Football. The CW doesn't play on Sunday.
We've got three relocated shows, all solid moves and one newcomer, also in a solid spot. NBC will still take the night with the NFL, but ABC, CBS and Fox all have different kinds of counterprogramming that truly shows the actual power of the broadcast networks. There really is something for everyone on Sunday. That doesn't even include a plethora of programming on basic, premium and pay-cable such as the returns of
Dexter (Showtime, Sep 30, 9:00pm),
Homeland (Showtime, Sep 30, 10:00pm) and
The Walking Dead (AMC, October 14, 9:00pm).
