Tuesday. Martes. Mardi. Dienstag. Dinsdag.
Tuesday looks like it's going to be an interesting night, well, at last before American Idol destroys all in its path.

The night starts with ABC throwing Cavemen and Carpoolers at us, the only sitcoms in the hour. Dancing With the Stars Results and Boston Legal follow. Aside from the sitcoms, ABC is fine.

CBS has NCIS, the only returning show in the 8pm slot. The Unit needs to perform to attract viewers to the all-new Cane.

Beauty and the Geek moves to a new time and leads into the new Reaper over on The CW. Your guess is as good as mine.

Fox has Bones and House admirably holding down the fort until, well, you know.

NBC has the second regularly skedded 90-minute show on any schedule with The Biggest Loser. Rounding out the 9pm hour is the return of The Singing Bee. The only remaining representative of the Law & Order universe on NBC Fall, Law & Order: Criminal Intent continues at 10pm. [edit: NBC changed the sked after I release the preview. I updated the grid, but will not change what I originally wrote.]

Tuesday has a nearly even mix of returning, rescheduled and new shows. Two sitcoms and four reality entries compliment eight dramas. Dancing With the Stars and House (yes, I know they're opposite each other) have the edge for the night, but the overall night (dependent on Cane) is (like other nights) CBS' to lose.
