my take
	Sugar cane? Huh? Jimmy Smits? Yuh. A year removed from his acclaimed turn as a presidental candidate on The West Wing, Smits gets the lead he's deserved for years. The supporting cast is a mix of solid Hollywood talent and unknowns. Smits and the story is what it's all about, especially since the slot is up for grabs. I'll be checking it out, but I'm on the fence if it will click or not.
