what i'm thinking about The WB...
The Frog has some decent programming this year, along with some 'eh' stuff. They make a encore change, add two dramas and four sitcoms.

The encore change is a WB exclusive. They have "Smallville: Beginnings" to leadoff on Sunday night. They are the only network which uses a portion of Primetime to showcase a series' earlier season. "Charmed" returns and leads into one of the potential clunkers, "Tarzan".

Monday remains the same as last year. If they programmed the 10pm hour as well as having a comparable number of affiliates to ABC, NBC, CBS or even Fox (they have less thn half), I think The WB might be able contend for the night. Tuesday adds "One Tree Hill" while Wednesday takes moved shows "Smallville" and "Angel."

Thursday is all sitcom, putting two returning shows between two new shows. I understand the "improv-block" in the 8pm hour, but I don't quite understand why the old and new aren't mixed like is done on Friday where "Like Family" and "All About The Andersons" join the returning "Reba" and from Fox, "Grounded for Life".

Monday through Wednesday are solid for The WB. Their comedy nights, specifically Thursday (hence the move of "What I Like About You"), could use help.
