my take
Most likely a very low cost production, which makes it worth the shot. I highly recommend using this in strong combination with the 'net and using this new brand elsewhere on the CW and even CBS. Warner can throw together 3-4 minute segments using the CW Now branding and show them before WB movies, for example. There's potential here. Combine it with Online Nation for a 12-25 year old 60 Minutes.
