"Chase" is a fast-paced drama from Emmy Award-winning executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer and executive producer Jennifer Johnson that drops viewers smack into the middle of a game of cat-and-mouse as a team of U.S. marshals hunts down America's most dangerous fugitives. Kelli Giddish stars as U.S. Marshal Annie Frost, a cowboy boot-wearing deputy whose sharp mind and unique Texas upbringing help her track down the violent criminals on the run.

my take
Like The Event, NBC has been promoting the hell out of Chase, all summer long. That doesn't let me know if it'll be good or bad. It's from the Bruckheimer house and it appears to be a "bad guy of the week" deal. I'd like it better if they would have overlapping stories and some that do not get solved in 44 minutes. If the writing is solid and star Kelli Giddish can carry it, it has a shot. I'm not optimistic, however, partly since it's got a difficult slot. If NBC cared about Saturday, Chase would be a great show for that night.
