What I Say |
| Another cop show set in LA but with a twist. Each episode will show the same story from a variety of different viewpoints: the cops, the victim, the paramedics, etc. Something a little bit fresh, how nice! |
My Analysis & Prediction |
| Full season especially with a strong lead-in from "Law & Order: CI." Head-to-head is the fading "The Practice" and the final hour of CBS Sunday Movie. The cast is pretty photogenic and could be set up for a strong debut. |
What They Say |
| Los Angeles is not all limousines and movie stars. Taking a break from the TV crime capital, New York, this series explores the lives, in an ensemble fashion, of a burned out detective and his gung-ho partner, an ambitious D.A., a veteran parole officer, a struggling beat cop, a brassy reporter and a been-there-done-that paramedic. |
| The Los Angeles crime scene as seen through the eyes of some of the city's cops, paramedics, reporters and officials. Donnie Wahlberg stars as an emotionally drained detective and Mykelti Williamson plays his smooth-talking partner. |

| Forget the Hollywood hype. Ignore the sunny facade. Step onto the real streets of Los Angeles with the cops and paramedics who roam them. Emmy-winning writer Graham Yost ("From The Earth to The Moon," "Band of Brothers") creates a life-and-death beat filled with characters as diverse and thrilling as the City of Angels. In addition to a philandering District Attorney and his lover, an ambitious local reporter, are L.A.'s unsung heroes: Detectives Fearless (Mykelti Williamson, Ali) and Joel (Donnie Wahlberg, "Band of Brothers"), cops Turcotte (Jason Gedrick, "Murder One") and Hechler (Gary Basaraba, "Brooklyn South") and medic Theresa. The action (and there's plenty) unravels backwards and forwards, "Pulp Fiction" style, with each new time frame offering a fresh perspective on both sides of the law and unique insight into what makes these people - and this city - tick.
