What I Say |
| Not completely "been there, done that," but really close. I think we've seen this before as "Working" with Fred Savage over on NBC. |
My Analysis & Prediction |
| This could be the first to go, although the bar is lower this year for ABC. Feels like a one-note show. It's against the new Hidden Hills as well as the second half-hours of all other nets. There could be some hammock due to "Life with Bonnie" and "NYPD Blue." There also might be some last-minute sampling due to tune-over just before "Blue" starts. |
What They Say |
| A perky former temp finds herself at the mercy of of her co-workers when she moves up in the world of executive assistants for a network news show. |
| In the competitive world of television news, Claude (Sara Rue) has quickly moved up the ladder behind-the-scenes from a temp job to a sought-after permanent position. Her jealous co-workers spend the day trying to make her life a bit more difficult. |

| Huge egos. Backbiting assistants. Screaming deadlines. Claudia "Claude" Casey has moved up in the secretarial world of television news, from permanent floater to the anchor's desk. It's a short elevator ride from the depths of the mailroom to the executive summit, but still the ice queen assistants give her a chilly reception. Now, can this perky former temp's warmth and humanity melt the hearts of the competitive up-and-comers? Writer Terri Minsky (Sex and the City) has a brand new take on the working girl. If you can't join 'em, you better beat 'em.
