From Emmy Award-winning writer-producer Kevin Falls (The West Wing) and Emmy Award-winning director-producer Alex Graves (The West Wing) comes Journeyman a romantic mystery-drama about San Francisco newspaper reporter and family man, Dan Vasser (Kevin McKidd, Rome), who inexplicably begins to travel through time and change the course of people's lives. Along the way, he must also deal with the difficulties and stress at work and home brought on by his sudden disappearances.

my take
Time travel is one of my favorite subjects when it's done right. Causality is a funny thing to keep track of in the context of time travel. Just the simple synopsis makes me shudder because if he runs into his fiancee in the past, it automatically changes things in the future. If they don't keep track of this to perfection, the show won't work. This reminds me a bit of "Early Edition." Historically these shows haven't worked very well (That Was Then, ABC 2002 and Do Over, WB 2002), but NBC's sci-fi Monday gives Journeyman one of the best lead-ins possible. Kevin Falls and Alex Graves pedigree is The West Wing, which for me is instant credibility.
