There's a brash new hunk at the Pentagon. Former Green Beret and Army Major JT Tisnewski (Benjamin Bratt) is "fresh from the field" and running Special Ops with cranky Colonel McNulty (Dennis Hopper). Both work in the Pentagon Building's outer "E-Ring," where all the critical decisions are made and both are at war with the Defense Department's bureaucracy.

i opine...
In the vein of "The West Wing" and ABC's new "Commander In Chief," we go to DC for a look inside, this time, The Pentagon. (Anyone else think it's odd that the arguably most powerful building in the world is named after a shape?) Most people have no idea what the title actually means, which should pique interest. I like the idea, but I'm not sure of the interaction between Bratt and Hopper.
the breakdown
Full season. Four new shows and two moved ones make it interesting. "E-Ring" has the best chance for a solid second place finish.
