Forget DNA. When there's no physical evidence at a crime scene, the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit is called in to seek psychological clues and stop serial criminals in their tracks. Team leader Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin) is coming off a six-month sabbatical to relieve post-traumatic stress, and some wonder if he's as unstable as the fiends they're pursuing.  cbs.png

i opine...
It's yet-another procedural for CBS, but surprisingly not from Jerry Bruckheimer. "Criminal Minds" focuses on FBI profilers. Without Mandy Patinkin, I'd say forget it. With him, it has a chance. I just feel as if I've seen it before.
the breakdown
The premise doesn't grab me, but that might be since I feel it skews older. Its chances aren't great and its got a very tough slot. With CBS riding high, they'll probably let this one find an audience for awhile at least.
