welcome to the 2005-06 letterten Fall Preview

Thanks for stopping by. Here's the Big Fall Preview, complete with some predictions, ALL the program grids for network television and a lot of opinion. If you happen to be involved with a show and like or don't like what I've written, I'd be glad to explain further - and remember, don't take it personal-like. :)

In years past, I've made my preview without watching anything at all. This year as most shows had some form of clip online, I watched where I could. I HAVE NOT read any of the Fall Previews from Entertainment Weekly, Hollywood Reporter, TV Guide, et al. In fact, all of those issues are currently sitting on my table mocking me.

The Hollywood Reporter (and hr.com), tvtracker.com, zap2it.com, tvguide.com, epguides.com, tv.com, imdb.com and the six network websites were used for data compilation. FYI, I started placing the original premiere dates for each show when I did my full preview several years back. I noticed that the Reporter has them in their Fall tables. I did NOT simply lift that data. I say it because it took me a lot of time to dig for that info.

Even with three very similar shows about aliens and two mismatched lawyer shows, this season doesn't seem as bleak as last year. A few comedies seem to actually be funny and a handful of drama look as if they are compelling.

I've added links to episode guides in the grids denoted by . A comfirmed HD broadcast has a shiny . Direct links to the network page (at least at the original time of publication) is denoted by an icon that is like , but network specific.

Top 3 First to Die Candidates: ABC's "Night Stalker," Fox' "Killer Instinct" or NBC's "Inconceivable."
Hot New Comedies: CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" and UPN's "Everybody Hates Chris."
Hot New Drama: ABC's "Commander In Chief."

The site should be fine on all current browsers, Mac or PC, but remember if you're using Internet Exploder 6 for Windows, it eats code for fun -- you should download Firefox for your best Windows browsing experience.

Enjoy! I'd love to hear from you to talk about anything here...or maybe you'd like to hire me. :)
