opinions
Norm was great on "SNL," and even though I like Norm, I think he's too acerbic for a primetime sitcom. This seems like a fish out of water show that is a fish out of water. It might be better suited to the 9:30 slot.
Last time Norm Macdonald did a show, it required several years of reworking and never properly gelled. This one looks doomed to a similar fate. The punchlines are played way too hard and the clips show that Penelope Ann Miller needs work on her comic timing. The advertisers were laughing their heads off at this one, suggesting that they share a sensibility with the laugh track.
my thoughts on "A Minute With Stan Hooper"
13 max. It doesn't seem like I'd want to come back and spend that minute with Stan.
