What I Say
Great concept, good miniseries ratings, but every week against "Friends," "Survivor" & "WWE Smackdown"? It was just moved to November due to production difficulties and postponements - not a good sign.
My Analysis & Prediction
Axed if not quickly moved; 13 max. I don't see this lasting due to what has to be some of the highest cost per hour of any show. ABC's got no financial interest, but they do want to generate interest in their Family Hour...It'll be sampled from time to time, but I can't see how this survives -- at least in this slot. Pre-teen kids are about the only ones I expect to watch this.
What They Say
Picking up where ABC's May sweeps megaseries left off, a father and his two very diferent sons continue to adapt to living in a world where humans and dinosaurs live together in an utopian society.
tvguide.jpgSpun off of the recent miniseries, this new show features dinosaurs and humans living together and getting along peacefully.

Have you ever seen a brachiosaurus taxi cab? A library run by Stenonychosaurus? A city built on towering waterfalls? Only in Dinotopia, a lost world where man and dinosaur live together in harmony. "Dinotopia: The Series" picks up where May's mega mini-series leaves off, following a father and his two sons as they struggle to adapt to a land technology and humanity forgot. Our heroes will discover new challenges in every episode as they explore the perils and promise of this utopian landscape... [Visit ABC's site for the continuation.]
